As a non-profit organization, GCSDA benefits its members by...

  • Developing and coordinating interest in square dance activities in Arizona.
  • Emphasizing Square Dancing as a part of the recreation of the people of this area.
  • Promoting good fellowship and spirit of friendliness among all who share the common interest in square dancing, which is defined to include square, round, contra, clogging and line dancing.
  • Disseminating information of interest to square dancers.
  • Assisting clubs so they can in maintaining a sound organization.
  • Helping individuals or groups desiring to establish new clubs.
  • Promoting interaction between regional and state level organizations.
  • Providing insurance for dancers, clubs and the places they dance at a discounted rate.
